Our Modular Housing Systems (“MHS”) built using metal frame and smart panel technology are aimed at optimizing building technologies that mesh consumer demand for environmental, sustainable, energy-efficient, cost-effective and culturally/individually-focused solutions to housing needs. By bringing together the latest technological and design capabilities available both in-house and through associations in areas not strictly involved in building systems, our competitive advantage lies in being able to fine-tune customer/client needs that address current and anticipated requirements.

Construction programs either from an individual, corporate or developer’s perspective have had to deal with a number of issues that may be addressed at the owner or end user level, they demand the intervention of an unending number of “specialized contractors” that can lead to frustrations attributed to; quality control, cost-overruns, completion delays and environmental (both direct and indirect impact) considerations. In other words, our approach in building solutions allow our clients to focus on that particular need they wish to meet; whether that be financial, social or personal.

Architectural Inspiration

Inspiration is taken from the Persian culture, the heritage of our founder and CEO.

In particular, influence from Persian gardens that are created with a specific design where water plays a crucial and fundamental role.

In architectural design we like to include a patio so that nature can be brought into and be part of the building. The natural elements of trees, plants and water blur the line between indoors and outdoors.

Functional Design

A space that you can use is fundamental to our designs.

What Does It Do? Is It's Point?

Sufism provides guidance on the art of communication, the love of nature and the many symbols in Iranian architecture. Our own bodies provide meaning to what is outside, what is required for a space to live and work; to function with us as individuals and as a group of peoples.

Western architectural design is now far from the traditional and classic designs which worked for millennia in the Persian culture, something which we embrace in our designs.

Sustainability

Notwithstanding the term ‘sustainability’ being a modern buzzword, a fashionable marketing speak word much overused, it is fundamental to our designs.

Sustainability in architecture needs to deployed at the roots of design. It is not enough to plant some trees on a balcony, install solar panels and create a roof garden when tonnes of concrete need to be poured to achieve this illusion of a sustainable building.

For tens of thousands of years, mud was used as a primary building material. Modern buildings need many layers of different materials to achieve the same properties that mud has. Mud is fire retardant, it insulates from the heat and cold, water-proof, sound-proof, humidity and damp proof.

Nano-technology may be the answer to super sustainability and shines a bright future for architectural design and innovation.

We keep up-to-date with the latest sustainability technologies not only in architecture but in design generally.

History

At around 14 years of age Sarvenaz set her mind to becoming an architect. She read every book and magazine on the subject that she could get hold of. This habit remains and she continues to read about architecture.

When Sarvenaz went to study to become an architect a professor at her university said something to the class that has remained with her, “Architecture is an ocean with a one metre depth”, that is:

An Architect Should Know A Bit of: Philosophy Colour Science Psychology Social Life Cultures

A Brave Space

We create brave spaces.

Modern architecture design is cliched, generic and derivative using neutral colours. Is is not brave enough to use colour. There is the other extreme of hyper-modern and futuristic design but without the fundamental basis of function it results in a sci-fi design of beauty without substance and function.

Architectural design is and Art and a Science. It combines the artistic aesthetic, emotion and feeling with the scientific physics, maths and chemistry.

An architect does not necessarily know better than you about space. We constantly remind ourselves that it is not how the architect feels in that designed space, not what the architect thinks the client feels but how the client actually feels.
